As chief editor of SeaStar, I receive a lot of offers to go diving all over the world. But there is a reason why I was awarded the "Friend Of Thailand" in Bangkok 2010 and why, for the fourth time, we are organising our model and adventure event "SeaStar Discovery" with Sea Bees Diving.
There are few countries that offer such diversity above and below water. You need a partner you rely on. Sea Bees has dive centres and resorts in all the important locations and is therefore able to offer a diversity of services to all its guests.
Together with their professional service, new equipment as well as safe and comfortable boats, Sea Bees can offer a great package you can rely on whether on a private basis or with a large event such as "SeaStar Discovery".

Dear Sea Bees Team,
As a regular guest using your 'all-in-one' packages, it is difficult for me to say what is the best part - the welcoming and friendly resorts in Phuket and Khao Lak, the well-organised diving, the superb food or the unobtrusive service of all staff members.
Most impressive is how effortless you make it look and how professionally things are run, especially with Hilla who was my first contact. Everybody knows what to do and how to help.
Diving with you means I can relax and simply enjoy my diving holidays. Has anybody said thank you? Well, I am.
Best regards
Norbert

SSI Thailand is proud to work with Sea Bees Diving, they emphasis the quality of service in all areas that SSI stands for and do it all with a smile.
We have stayed at the Sea Bees own ‘Palm Garden Resorts’ many times in the past and the hardest problem is leaving and getting Donna back to work, plus trying not to eat too much food at the restaurants.
We are very much looking forward to diving with Sea Bees this year all for work of course!

Sea Bees Diving use the most stylish and spacious diving boats. They have very professional instructors and delicious food on board. The instructor, Florian always takes good care of you and is very causious with newcomers and beginners. He explains every step in great detail and provides assistance to those who need it. There is a really friendly atmosphere on board and in the water as everyone joins in with the dives and helps each other along the way.
Your accommodation, the Palm Garden Resort, offers everything divers need. I especially loved the warm yellow colours of your cute bungalows, the hammock at the terrace, the exotic palm landscape and the ingenious Thai Soup served at the restaurant - it feels like you are staying in an oasis of a tropical garden.
Until the next time and many lovely greetings from Elischeba.

Managing director of Atlantis
Nowadays for divers, South East Asia is a popular destination, here Thailand is located at the peak. One who has recognised this very early is Holger Schwab from Augsburg. He took over “Sea Bees” in Phuket in 1995. The dive centre had existed already for a few years but the success came with the new managing director.
With the thoroughness of an experienced dive instructor and dive office manager, Sea Bees, located in Chalong, has since become the number one place for divers in Thailand.
The development of the headquarter, close to the jetty, was followed by the construction of the school's own resort, The Palm Garden Resort, where beginners can complete their first lessons at the on-site pool facilities.
With their own restaurnt right next to the headquarters, and a number of professional diving boats, Sea Bees offers the complete diving experience.
Located on the eastern side of Phuket, away from the busy beaches of Patong and it`s often overflowed promenade, Sea Bees is the ideal starting point for trips to the regional dive spots. Whether its the Shark Point, the King Cruiser Wreck, or daytrips with one of the yellow Sea Bees boats to Phi Phi Island - Holger Schwab and his crew will give you the dive adventure of a life time.

Sea Bees, a 8-times winner of Tauchen’s Golden Dolphin Award, is a great place to become a PADI diver, a PADI professional or simply enjoy a relaxed diving vacation (incl. exclusive accommodation at the Palm Garden Resort). They provide professional dive services, including all levels of PADI Courses, daily dive charters on its own boats and a friendly and experienced staff.
Sea Bees has flexible dive charters and PADI dive course schedules, keeping the number of participants low and thus has excellent and personalized service. Don’t miss out on the great food as well, from Sea Bees own restaurant!

Everybody who has been diving with Sea Bees agrees that this is a professional diving centre which really cares about giving you the best diving expereince.
When the team around Holger Schwab started to built up the business in 1995,there was already some competition from other diving schools in Phuket and Ao Chalong. So it was clear that success was only reachable through performance, a high standard of service and trust from customers. A strategy, which in my opinion has proved successful.
With Sea Bees, customers have access to modern equippment, an attractive base with classrooms and workshops in Chalong and Patong. They offer a range of courses from every level, open water up to instructor level, depening on your needs.
The dive centre in Ao Chalong is idealy located within easy access of some of Phuket's top diving spots. For multiple day safaris, there is the roomy Marco Polo available, of which the main destination is the the fantastic Similan and Surin Islands. Where you will visit the legendary Richelieu Rock with its unbelievable under water world - This is a must see for every diving customer, we checked it several times.
Additionally, Sea Bees has expanded into another touristy area and established itself in Khao Lak, in the south-west of Phang Nga Province, with a second professional centre. Just "Let´s do it". The top spots of the Similan and Surin Islands are within easy access, ideal for day trips. The Catamaran is specially customized for divers, making it a fast yet comforatble journey.
I highly recommend The Palm Garden Resort, a dedicated resort created exclusively for Sea Bees divers. This intimate and very clean resort is one of the nicest of its kind in the region. With its 12 bungalows and a beautiful restaurant, it has a wonderful pool underneath palms with a little waterfall in the middle of flowering bushes. The professional instuctors at Sea Bees use the pool for educational reasons, especially with the beginners.
We don´t know what Holger Schwab has planned for the future of Sea Bees, but in this top dive centre there won´t be a rest, that is for sure. Completely clearly: "Let´s do it!"

A very cool dive centre. Nice, friendly staff, a boss of the finest and a Hilla who is taking care of the customers from the front to the back.

Sea Bees, is the fine bee with a sense for "delicious" - so is the dive centre. With excellent service and boats for day trips of the finest - you are guaranteed a "delicious" holiday.
The bungalows in Khao Lak and Phuket are far away from any stress and are an oasis of recreation.
Like Sabine Hauke von Barakuda Touristik used to say, what Holger is doing, is "built on solid ground".
WolfgangWolfgang Thaler
Managing Director of Slow Dive
After an afternoon of recreation and one night in the Palm Garden Resort in Khao Lak, I got picked up by the Sea Bees and brought to the harbour. I enjoyed a refreshing cocktail in the morning then took part in the "Kao Lak Mix", made of ingredients like wreck diving, diving at the Similans and Koh Bon. Sea Bees has a fast motor catamaran, which takes around two hours, to bring divers and people who just want to enjoy it to fantastic Similan Islands. On the waters it´s silent…but beautiful. The centre is truly excellent. Holger Schwab does not like superficiality. It is so decent, filled with enjoying moments of joy. It is a lust to dive and a lust to look. After that cruising wind on the dive boat, back in the resort a cool drink helps to digest the experiences.
Anyway, every matter here is fitting for Slow Dive, individual, enjoyable diving and lovely Thai food.

Whether you are in Thailand to dive or snorkel, then you can't beat the professional service of Sea Bees Diving. From the moment you arrive at the airport you feel that you are in friendly and capable hands.
Staying at the Palm Garden Resort Phuket was a delight, where nothing was too much trouble. It is easy to see that the Resort has been designed with the diver in mind; with plenty of space to dry your gear and a pool perfect for learning to dive. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay was to be found right on hand. After a hard day out and about it was far too easy to take a relaxing swim and enjoy our evening meal by the pool.
What impressed us most was whether we were on the boats, in the shop or at the resort we found everyone to be helpful and knowledgeable. The boats never seemed crowded or rushed, which always makes a relaxing day. Service on the boats is personalised by having a low ratio of clients to guide - whether you are diving or snorkelling. Would I go back? Yes definitely, but for longer.

When I am writing about a dive centre, I often have an ambivalent feeling. Beside positive features there often are negative ones as well. But at Sea Bees, the combination of service, well maintained boats, the accommodation, the centre itself and its staff reached such a high level, that in the end I can just say, it will be difficult to top this somewhere else - not just in South-East-Asia, but anywhere in the world.
The big and professional managed centre gives every individual a comfortable atmosphere, so with Sea Bees you are not just a number, but also a feeling of personality. It's just amazing!
I recommend Sea Bees from the heart!
