Hey guys,
Did the 3 day similan and 3 day northern livaboards on Genesis I.
AWESOME diving and a great trip! The staff, instructors and divemasters were brilliant - thanks Pam, Joreon, Becky and Dirk! I didnt want to get off the boat after the 6 days, but we all gotta face the real world again at some point....
See you all again when i can get back.

We signed up for two back to back 3 day cruises on the Genesis. The value is incredible it was just 890 euros per person double occupancy for 6 days of spectacular diving with free nitrox. The boat is clean, efficient and organized. The diving involved more marine life than we have ever seen and we have dived Palau and Fiji. The food was fantastic with 5 meals per day. Cereal breakfast, full breakfast with eggs and cheese and bread and fruit (which is edible because they are careful about the water), lunch and dinner are about 4 Thai entrees not all spicy and a snack before the last dive. Our daugher has severe allergies to Tomatoes and Barley and they took care of her by leaving all tomatoes off the boat while taking care of 5 vegetarians at the same time. There are 3 dives on the first and last day and 4 on the middle day making this six days contain 20 possible dives. The Similan Islands are simpler diving and some of the others on the boat were new divers. The 12 divers are divided into groups of 3 to 5 and a dive master is assigned to each group. This helps because dive briefings may be in English and German and other languages but were always complete with drawings of the divesite. The best diving was on Richelieu Rock. We saw multiple Cuttle fish in the same daytime dive, schools of fish that were measured in thousands, ghost pipefish, gorgeous soft corals and great vizability in water so warm there was no need for a wetsuit. On other dives we saw some of the above and a Zebra Shark, blue spotted rays, frog fish, and many baby fish including some juvenile sargent majors the size of bumble bees, and a tiny pissed off trigger fish. We also saw Mantis, Cleaner, Banded and other shrimp, Lobsters big enough to be scary, tons of Clown and Anemone fish, clown trigger fish and so many Lion fish that they got boring (still a little fun to photograph). We also saw Scorpion and Stone fish, loads of eels including Honeycomb Moreys and free swimming eels on the wreck. We also spotted nudibranches, a hermit crab, giant sea fans, box fish and huge puffer fish. They even celebrated new years with Champagne and aerial fireworks. The Thai massage in Khao Lak are about 10 dollars for an hour and leave you floating on air. We were able to arrange a day in Hong Kong on the way back without costing any extra in airfare. Cathay Pacific is a great airline with video on demand and more comfortable than usual seats.

Mantastic. During our holliday we had some very good dives with the daytrip boat. Followed up by the liveaboard with the marco polo, start 13 march 2008. What a great boat. fantastic crew form captain to cook super. The dive guides Chris and Alex did a great job in showing us, even as we swim without a guide, the big and the very small. Thanks. After the liveaboard our hunger for diving was not over so more daytrips. With the excalibur again great diving, perfect crew. After 33 dives we needed to go home.

We had a fantastic week between October 17th and October 22nd 2007. Good diving weather, Beautiful dive locations at the Similan Islands. We have seen Leopard shark, Marble Stingray, Turtle, Octopus, beautiful coral etc etc. We have to come back for the Whale shark however. Diving leaders Christian and Sascha where perfect. They told us a lot about the locations and fish. The food and crew, Son, Meow, Kwun, Muud, Bad, Abdun and Tscha-Tscha, where perfect and very nice. The boot Marco Polo was in a good condition. Being able to dive with Nitrox EON32 (for free) was great.

We have just returned from a three day trip on Genesis I. I can't praise the dive masters and crew enough, this has to be the most professional company I have dived with and the crew were incredible, there is no chance of you going hungry either, I am happy to recommend Sea Bees to anyone. My third Marco Polo experience and it just gets better and better. The welcome - even though being one of only two english on the boat - was fantastic. In terms of quality of service, hospitality and diving, it does not get much better than this. My heartfelt appreciation to all who helped give me such a great time and if anyone wants more detail on what sort of things to expect, please drop me a line.

We have just read your short report and are happy that all of you are fine and that the tsumani missed you and your ships, especially the Marco Polo (the ship we were on!!!) We were quite worried that some of you might have been injured and that you might have lost your entire business! Thank God you were spared! We still speak fondly of our dive trip with your company. We were especially impressed by the friendly, professional, and safe manner in which the crew and dive guides conducted the trip! We have recommend your company to divers at our local dive shop here in Miami. Good Diving!!! Jan & Mary Misitis
